Grasshopper Garden

Old World Beads & Trade Beads

Necklaces

Originals by Evelyn J. Kitson

Trade beads have been collected and traded throughout the world, gathering tales of courage and adventure as they travel across continents.  Some are 100 to 150 years old.  With irregularities and edges worn smooth from years of wear, the beads will resonate with each wearer's individual life story, filled with ups and downs, the pursuit of dreams, courageous endeavors and aspirations.

Each bead is carefully selected and each necklace is one-of-a-kind.  Earrings with similar beads are also available to complement each necklace.  Each piece is handcrafted in my studio in Rochester, NY.

Grasshopper Garden is a based on the belief that there is wonder in this world and natural beauty in each new day.  When we notice and appreciate the beauty of the natural world, we nurture the creativity that is within each of us.  Like gardening, creativity is an ever expanding and on-going process. Always evolving and ever-new, there is a constant search for the next variation, an improved version, and a fuller expression.  Grasshopper Garden products are based on this belief.

Shipping for one or two necklaces or pairs of earrings is $4.50 for USPS priority with delivery confirmation.  If you'd like to order a selection of necklaces and/or earrings, send and email to the artist, Evelyn J. Kitson.  Send to: grasshoppergarden@gmail.com
